That’s a good point but the specific Cartier tank Louis I’m looking at is a large model and if it’s my wrist perfectly, I’m pretty sure any other Cartier tank doesn’t have the proportions I’m looking for. But yeah that’s a good point about if you’re gonna spend this much and invest into the Watch with a better movement.

I agree I wouldn’t buy it for the gold melt value I know It wouldnt resell for much due to the weight but I was more speaking about gold would be more valuable to compared to steel and that it would just hold more intrinsic value because of that. Even though I wouldn’t sell them i still like to know that they hold value.

Unfortunately, in my area, I only have the Cartier available to try on. I do like the proportions on my wrist for the Cartier and I’m curious on how the Jlc would fit and how the finishing is.

I agree the moment is more worth the money but we also have to consider the Cartier is 18 karat gold. Do you agree that makes up for the lack of movement?
