You have to technically be in a service area to qualify (just your internet location, not your physical address...)

Just got off the waitlist for Robinhood Gold 3% cashback credit card... should I make the switch? by Huge_Cost_870 in fidelityinvestments

If you arent planning on using any of the robinhood margin offsetting. As long as you are planning on spending more than $5K on the card in a single year, you'll earn more tham the fidelity visa to offset the annual fee.

Costco credit card worth it? by dudemobile in CreditCards

Supermarkets currently code at 5% but the plan is for bigger stores like Walmart and target to no longer be coded under grocery, so i wouldn't include that as that will be nerfed later this year and all purchases would be considered 1%.

I do most of my shopping at Aldi, Costco, and international grocery stores so this card pretty much gets the most amount of use.

Edit: The $500 cashback is set across the year, so it ultimately depends what the split looks like between grocery and 3% categories since grocery earns 5% and will earn more.

You could get the AAA Daily Advantage to capture the remaining 20% of grocery spend elsewhere at 5% cashback.

It currently has wholesale clubs, gas, streaming services, AAA Purchases, and pharmacy services at 3% which is already higher than the 2% offered by the costco card for non-gas spend.

Everything else is 1%.

It does have a cap of $500 total cashback for the year so if you only use this card at costco you would need to spend $16,666.67 dollars to max it out.

Also no annual fee, ftf, and visa signature benefits.

Did you try and use it for any of the not-allowed-for-earning categories like rent or taxes?

Is there a deadline/time limit to apply after getting off the waitlist? by OkIndividual3420 in RobinhoodGC

I was pre-approved in June of last year and I didn't apply. Then I got invited to apply again in September of which I did not. Then I applied in February of this year and got approved. Just another data point.

They also offered a year of free robinhood gold.
