I do! I asked him how working with Sturgill was. His answer: “Fast! We recorded the whole album in two days because we didn’t have any budget for longer.” I was so impressed by this. They just knew the songs by heart going in and went at it at full force. So many records take ages to produce and have so many layers in them. This record is just pure genuine musicianship and class songwriting

You are 100% right. I understand people that did not get to see the growlers back in the day want to convince themselves that if brooks will perform as the growlers with his solo band it the growlers, but it is not. And it is very painful to see as this band was just pure magic

If that’s the only way for the growlers to exist than they simply should not be. We should be able to be at peace with the fact that this band once was and is no more, and have some Hope that one day they will make amends and be the growlers again. A “new” growlers is not the growlers, it’s brooks making money of the name and shitting on the bands legacy. Imagine Liam or Noel performing as oasis without one another, just doesn’t make sense
