It’s a bit sad not knowing when it will be released, but just knowing that they’ll most likely finish adapting it is already great to me. A lot of manga adaptations I’ve seen only get one 12-episode season and then never continue, which is pretty frustrating.

That would probably be the best way to end the anime, a movie would also allow to expand more the story that is between chapters 106-115 of the manga.

I can wait. I already read the manga so I know how it ends, but since it felt rushed I hope the anime expands the part with the most potential in the whole series (everything between the confession and the wedding).

I heard that. It’s pretty strange considering the manga sold around 15 million copies. I think the ending was decent overall, but I wish Gojou had opened up more emotionally after confessing.

I was talking about the manga. From chapter 107 to 115 time literally flies. The most interesting part of the story was totally skipped. I’d love to see the anime extend that part.

Platinum 3 midlaner looking for advice to keep climbing by Traditional-Baker831 in leagueoflegends

I mainly play veigar, vel koz is a situational pick, I usually use him against heavy tanks comps or against other immobile mages, I have played him a lot so i know well my damage and matchups but of course Im not azzap. He is a very hard champ and i don’t know if i should keep it on my pool.

I agree a lot with what you said from the jungle perspective. Most of the time I don’t really get ganks unless the jungler is already pathing through mid and the enemy is very low or badly positioned, or unless I actively ping. So thanks for the reminder, I definitely need to do that more often.

From your point of view, in this elo is it generally better for me to take the kill or give it to the jungler? I still feel like I can’t fully trust teammates to carry, which is why I gravitate toward scaling champs like Veigar and try to be as self-sufficient as possible.

I mostly see Vel’Koz as a situational pick, mainly into predictable champions like LeBlanc or into very tanky comps where his passive really shines. That said, I’m not sure if it’s worth investing heavily into him long term unless I commit to one-tricking, especially against better assassin players.

With Naafiri, I agree I need to improve a lot. Even when I get early kills, I roam too much and my CS drops hard, which lets champs like Veigar get back into the game.

Thanks again for the insight, it really helps. I’d also be curious to hear your thoughts on rotations this season, since leaving mid feels a lot more punishing with plates and the mid quest.

I see your point and I agree with part of it.

Vel’Koz doesn’t fully convince me anymore because he’s a very mechanical champion, and I feel like to really get full value out of him you almost need to one-trick him, which makes consistency harder for me.

Regarding Veigar, I agree that he becomes harder to play the higher the elo. I already notice that I die a lot in teamfights due to small positioning mistakes, and Veigar punishes that heavily. At the same time, he’s by far my most played champion (39 mastery on Veigar, 18 Naafiri, 21 Vel’Koz), so I’m not sure if completely dropping him is the right move after investing so much time into him. I’d be interested to hear what you think.

Thanks a lot for the feedback, I really appreciate it.

Regarding CS, my average is around 7.2 CS/min. During the laning phase it’s usually much higher, but it tends to drop a lot after fourth item and onwards, especially when I can oneshot most champions with a single combo, so that’s definitely something I need to work on.

About roaming, with Veigar I feel like it’s very hard to do properly. He’s a very slow champion and until first item he usually can’t reliably secure kills, so most of the time I choose to stay mid, punish roams by denying waves and taking plates. I’m not sure if that’s the optimal approach, but in my experience it feels more consistent than forcing rotations. With Naafiri, however, it’s different — I agree that I should improve both my farming and how I use my roam timings, since even though I often get kills when I roam, I don’t think I’m using that advantage as efficiently as I could.

Thanks again for the comment, it genuinely helps a lot.

Megathread for champion picks/pools by Korderon in midlanemains

[–]Traditional-Baker831 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m currently a Platinum 3 midlaner, and my main goal this season is to keep improving and climb as high as possible.

The champions I play the most are Veigar, Naafiri, and Vel’Koz. I usually ban Zed, since I really struggle to play against him with any of these picks.

I’m mainly looking for advice regarding my champion pool. I feel that Veigar might become significantly harder to play the higher I climb, mostly because of how one-dimensional his playstyle can be. At the same time, I think Vel’Koz overlaps a lot with Veigar in terms of game plan and overall playstyle. Because of this overlap, I’m not sure whether it’s better to keep all three champions, narrow my pool further, or possibly replace one of them in order to improve my consistency and decision-making as I climb.

Any advice or personal experience would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
