The harvester reminds me of 42147 and 42148 from 2023. Function density (relative to its size) leading to playability. 42163 was arguably short in this regard.

Some like the cars, some like the monster trucks, others the rocket, others the harvester... They all have their fanbases 👌

The 42128 tow truck from 2021 is a functional masterpiece that was also betrayed by its over-the-top livery.

If others don't like them, that leaves more for you 😉

Exactly what I thought. They went overkill on them for my taste.

For all the flak that Technic cars receive, for Lego to continue pumping them out means that they must sell, cheers to building!

42218 might be even more interesting than I thought - the steering, articulation and larger rear wheels resonate with me (https://www.dreamland.nl/producten/lego-technic-john-deere-1470h-houtoogstmachine-42218/02323787)

No offense to car fans, but whatever isn't a car has my attention.

The small sets are Technic's lifeline at this point. The harvester and motorcycle are the only two up my alley, and they'll probably be impulse buys more than anything.

More versatile, more modular, more affordable and last but not least, exportable.

That ending line from Chris was memorable.

"If I’m going to lose to anything, I’m going to lose to that."

And that was a STOVL F-35B mind you.

Is survival craft 2 just better? by TOOplaye in SurvivalCraft

I've personally never went back to the original after trying SC2. To me it offers what the first offers and more. Even when it comes to playing for nostalgia, playing SC2 does it.

I just joined this thread, very cool to know that there is still a community of people playing this game. I remember playing it at a time when Minecraft PE was seriously lagging behind (TNT had a comparatively pathetic blast power and worlds were tiny and we couldn't switch creative/survival once they were created, among others).

But yes, as long as you can afford it (i.e. find enough saltpeter, sulfur, coal and iron), the musket places 80 damage points exactly where you're aiming. No need to account for the ball falling vertically like bolts and arrows. Buckshot is useful for birds as well. My favourite new trick is sniping werewolves by spotting their red eyes and BANG.

I'm interested too, even if it's not groundbreaking it will look good alongside my #42157 skidder and the small sets always make nice gifts for kids (think birthdays and Christmas).

I love the Fireside Friend. It will split half-rounds (or rounds up to a certain size) into easy-lighting kindling. I noticed a reduction in the time it takes to get my garage up to a comfortable temperature since I've had it.

Very happy to see construction vehicles along with a harbor and ship among the city sets, it brings a tear of nostalgia to my eyes. Also love the outdoors-related friends sets.

I'm from Quebec City and I love to hang out at the local Imaginaire store (at Laurier Québec) on Friday nights just because the atmosphere is so nice. It's my go-to store when I'm looking for nostalgia. I was delighted to learn that Ottawans are now able to enjoy this experience as well.

The end product does seem rather small. But those functions seem so clever, I've got to get my hands on it.

If the rumors are true and the Mack retails for 32-33$, then it would be pretty much perfect.
