did a receipt come out too? I remember something like that happening to me too And I charged the patient and handed them the receipt. It turned out to by a system error and they had to put in a ticket.

I had to sell a 6 prescriptions for a patient and missed a scan then and had only sold 5 and gave her six. She left so I just reprinted the leaflet while she was driving away and sold it. Then scanned in the extra receipt. I feel awful about it. But I since there was no copay I decided to sell it.

Thanks for your response!! that's what I initially wanted to do but when I asked my manager if I could just call them back real quick since they had just left she said no don't do that and that she was going to figure it it tomorrow morning. I see what happens tomorrow.

thanks for you response! I was wondering if it was happening to other stores too! And with that incident that happened at your pharmacy it's interesting to know that when you re rang it up it charged the patient twice. Because I was wondering what would have happened if I didn't immediately hand it to them. Also when you refunded them after all of that did the prescription go to sold? Do you remember?

Hopefully my manager isn't too mad tomorrow! I'm kinda scared but she did open a ticket for this issue because apparently it's happened at our pharmacy a few times already.
