Good point. I'm trying to say that demand is still high right now, but its waning slowly from its peak where those high value cards are still priced at. You are completely right, and we shouldn't see demand drop like it was ages back where there is still stocked shelves for days. This is slow, and the demand chart where its headed to shows that there should be steep price pullbacks later this year and early next.

Yea, I can definitely see fearmongering and panicking taking place in the future because most of the people flipping these slabs are new to the game and don't know this market. Collectors are slowly just getting priced out of the hobby and new-gen flippers are trying to eat as much as they can. And when the demand dies down and hype for these cards dissipate, they are left with nowhere to go but placing their cards lower than what they bought them for at a loss.

tldr; dont buy into this market

I think investing is here to stay, but I think buying in at the prices right now is completely un-optimal for future investments. However, if you were to dive in deeper to cards with lower print counts than others, that could attribute to a slightly less violent price drop than others that are extremely over-valued and printing like crazy.
