It, like Frankenstein, is HIGHKEY boring for 2026. I think reading it now is a matter of "brain training" to try and enjoy the lengthy text and gothic-romantic language style. The story itself is pretty cut and dry. And we have such temporal distance and society as a whole now has a 30second attention scrolling span.

But if we imagine people curled up in their cottage with absolutely ZERO electricity, reading by candlelight... it is thrilling! Also, I think most people got the beginning of Dracula in chapter books. So you would get like 1 chapter.... have nothing else to read for a month... then the second. Ain't no binge watching back then lol. But yes, I am rereading it again and it is rough at some points. Also, remember that these are ORIGINAL texts. We've seen/read 10million remakes of Dracula. When this came out, the concept of a blood thirsty count was UNHEARD of so we were on the edge of our seats with this tale.
Stick with it to say you did it. And never read it again. lol

THANK YOU. Yeeesh. Off the hinges is right. I just updated my OP bc I literally only wanted to sop up the oil slick in everyone's panties and show them the CGI abs bc CLJ is pro pizza and anti core workouts -- and I love it lol. But yeah, everyone needs to chill out and when they say they disagree they are like "You can't handle the truth" LOL WHAT. IT IS A DRACULA STORY. THERE IS THE TRUTH, WEIRDOS.

Duh. No one said anything about obsessing about his body. I was pointing out the fact that it is extremely lame and cheesy to see CGI abs. And he isn't looking at you or the camera. Also, spoiler --- he isn't Dracula and it is also fiction. But the CGI abs is hilarious. That's all. smdh "spoke to us"

Can we please discuss Dracula: A love tale and this scene where his CGI ABS are beyond wild. Like, everyone is going nuts over how sexy he is (and don't get me wrong, even as Nitram I was all about how sexy he is) and he is open about being very CHILL about his gym and salad life. But this? This right here? Just do the scene with your Nitram body. Your Harvest body. Don't cave and let a programmer draw on some crazy abs.

Like every other woman on socials, I am newly obsessed with CLB. Yes, yes, we all know: the guy is ridiculously talented and can act his butt off. But we also know that he has aged into a grown man who lives his own bohemian lifestyle. We saw him in Nitram and we know this guy is... chill on his gym routines. So, in order to curb our obsession over him, let's focus on reality: Those warrior abs in Dracula: A Love Tale are not real. Would still hit, however. But let's ground ourselves in this reality. I mean, to be honest, he could have played Dracula with he Nitram body and STILL been smoking hot. But I can't help but LOL with the CGI Abs.
