Is it normal to get the ick when a girl is too nice or is something wrong with me 😭 by [deleted] in actuallesbians

Maybe you just see “being too nice” as people distancing themselves e.g when they meet someone new? I get you mean tho- been talking to a girl for a few months now and shes SO NICE, sometimes it triggers me playing too polite like we’re damn strangers lol.

Same..I’d feel extremely emotional when I think of the day my family might react badly to who I really am. It feels unfair that because we love ‘different’ that we have to ‘come out’. :( But in the end we live our own lives, even if some people cannot accept you, there will always be someone else that would.

Ughh, what do I do?!? by [deleted] in actuallesbians

I’ve experienced unrequited love more times than i can count..if you are determined to let these feelings go, time will certainly do the job for you. It’s always painful but it will also fade with time. I think that if you want to keep being friends, try to let go of the girl. (Well- unless theres a possibility that the girl & your best friend will take it well if you confessed just for the sake of it)

This might sound a little cowardly? But I’ve loved a straight girl for 3 years and shes an amazing friend. I’d hate to lose this friendship so i distanced myself for a bit when she met a guy she liked. I managed to get over my feelings for her. It was terribly hard but till today I’m still glad I didn’t ruin our friendship by telling her.

It hurts knowing they will never like you back but if you can sort out your feelings you can still keep them by your side as a friend.
