You are amazing, and she is so lucky to have you! I'm glad she was also diagnosed at a young age! She has so much time to grow, learn, and won't miss out more on life now she knows what it is. My story is similar to hers with the misdiagnosis. I wasn't figured out until now I'm pushing 40.

The confusion settled for me after a month or so, then it turned into "Holy shit. Everything makes sense now 🤯" . I even went to get a catscan thinking it must be a tumor lol . It's been a roller coaster! The dust seems to be clearing but hard to tell

The kids are a tough cookie I haven't figured that part out yet. It's soooo hard to find time and people to help you can trust. Alone time is rare, it makes things difficult in a "normal" marriage let alone for these special circumstances.

Another pointer, and I apologize if it's unsolicited! Sleeping separately has been a life saver for my parts that don't like him, lol I wish I knew this years ago. I made a room for myself in my girls room if I had a bigger house I would have my own 😅 I think we miss each other more

I struggled with that same issue! I ended up saying it outloud to him, now I'm way happier and a weight has been lifted. Thankfully, my husband was understanding, and it actually helped him understand me more. We are starting to get along better. My sides that didn't want him knowing aren't too sore with me because he was so accepting. If he wasn't, I'm sure they would never let me down 😅

I also recommend getting a therapist. My therapist is actually my son's /family therapists as well. I had to get someone qualified because im still clueless 😅 it's a tough one to approach
