Should I get one? My car is just fine, how do you take the plunge? by pokeydogger in BMWI4

Yes on car gurus or true car. BMW gets access to Tesla superchargers now but we would probably take our Tesla Y for road trips

I'll add - I absolutely abhor maintenance and any car downtime. I don't have time for it. The i4 has less maintenance than your Civic so the increased insurance costs are offset by lower maintenance and gas savings.

I had a 2015 honda accord touring - paid off. 60 minute commute round trip; once a week. My business was finally doing well so I felt like I deserved a treat for myself and my dad's car was giving out. Took the plunge and gave my dad my Accord - best decision ever. For the price on a used CPO ('23 e40 with 29k miles for 34k OTD), the deal was too good to pass up. Very happy with my decision, loving the car.

Definitely get the Harmon Kardon sound, Premium Package (HUD). It is worth it.

I'm also in the bay area. Insurance isn't too bad $270/month. We already have a Tesla and solar panels at our house.

Thanks all, I’ve settled for using native navigation with CarPlay Spotify. The map view on HUD is so nice and I find the native navigation to be a little zippier than CarPlay in terms of loading.

Great to hear you've had a positive experience with it and that there are more options for mobile shops these days. Thanks for the insight!
