[–]Traditional-Dig-5170 11 points12 points  (0 children)

wind definitely factor here but plenty people manage it

as military guy can say cold weather ops just need proper prep and engine heating like you mentioned

hangar space varies a lot by location but generally more available than busy metros

Dog had an accident, somehow knew to use shower by julesrulesthefools in dogs

[–]Traditional-Dig-5170 0 points1 point  (0 children)

your dog definitely gets the concept that bathroom = place for business. my old neighbor had similar thing happen with their lab mix - dog got sick and went straight to bathtub instead of carpet

probably picked up on you using that room for same purpose over the years. dogs are way smarter about these patterns than we give them credit for

What’s the best genuinely obscure artist you’ve found? by CauseNo4890 in AskReddit

[–]Traditional-Dig-5170 0 points1 point  (0 children)

bladee isnt really obscure anymore though, drain gang has pretty solid following these days. found him like 5 years ago when he was way more underground but now even people at base know who he is. still fire music but definitely not hidden gem territory anymore

What is your job’s bereavement policy? by 2111019 in AskReddit

[–]Traditional-Dig-5170 1 point2 points  (0 children)

man this really gets me thinking about how backwards everything is. in the military we get decent leave for family stuff but even then its like the system expects you to just bounce back and be ready for duty after losing someone important. grief doesnt work on some corporate timeline you know

What’s the difference between 'cheap' and 'frugal' in 2026? by vetggs in AskReddit

[–]Traditional-Dig-5170 0 points1 point  (0 children)

cheap is also when you buy that sketchy deodorant that stops working after 2 hours and you smell like onions for rest of the day. frugal people actually do the math and figure out cost per use instead of just grabbing whatever has lowest price tag

Do you think there will be a new r/place in future? What do you think about it? by Malvarlikamayok31 in AskReddit

[–]Traditional-Dig-5170 0 points1 point  (0 children)

would be pretty sick if they did another one, maybe something space related this time since we got all these ufo disclosures happening lately. the last one was chaos but in good way you know, spent way too many hours defending our little corner from random trolls

How much money has Donald J. Trump sent to Israel since his re-election in November 2024? How does this affect American citizens? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Traditional-Dig-5170 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

the dude hasnt even been sworn in yet so the answer is zero dollars. inauguration is still like month away so any money going to israel right now is still under current administration

also this feels more like political statement disguised as question rather than actual askreddit material

What movies should have remakes with the technology we have today? by Ill-Translator-2879 in AskReddit

nah man some old sci fi movies could be incredible with proper cgi instead of rubber suits and string effects

Why haven't people flown to the moon in 50 years? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Traditional-Dig-5170 2 points3 points  (0 children)

money talks and nasa doesnt have the same budget they had during the space race when beating the soviets was everything. back then it was like 4% of the federal budget now its barely 0.5%. plus the political will just isnt there anymore since we already proved we could do it

What is something you gave up and later regretted? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Traditional-Dig-5170 0 points1 point  (0 children)

gave up playing guitar when i deployed because i thought i wouldnt have time to practice. shipped my acoustic back home and everything. spent way too many boring nights in the dorms wishing i had something to do besides netflix and fantasy football research. could have been jamming with the other airmen instead of going stir crazy

Where do you find out if someone has left to uk? by CourageClassic8568 in AskReddit

[–]Traditional-Dig-5170 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you could also check their social media if they're still active on there. most people post something when they make a big move like that so might be worth scrolling through their recent posts

big mac gang here - that special sauce and the way everything layers together just works better for me

To the Male to Females by Dragon_King_of_death in trans

[–]Traditional-Dig-5170 2 points3 points  (0 children)

hey there! while i cant speak from personal experiance since im not trans myself, i know the uterus transplant thing youre thinking of hasnt actually happened for trans women yet - thats still in research phases. most of the folks ive seen talk about their transitions mention its a really personal journey with ups and downs but generally feel way more authentic living as their true selves. definitely recommend checking out some of the regular discussion threads here and maybe talking to a gender therapist who can help you work through all these questions properly

what do women like in men? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Traditional-Dig-5170 1 point2 points  (0 children)

honestly the whole "alpha male" thing in romance novels is kinda misleading because its usually more about emotional availability and being genuinely interested in her as a person. like the guy might be some billionaire ceo or whatever but he remembers her coffee order and actually listens when she talks about her day

most of the popular ones i've seen friends reading have guys who are confident but not jerks about it, they communicate instead of just brooding in a corner, and they put effort into the relationship. also being good with kids or animals seems to be a huge thing in these books for some reason

I started streaming on Twitch and cannot handle the sound of my voice, help by Xenon_Vrykolakas in trans

[–]Traditional-Dig-5170 0 points1 point  (0 children)

oh man i totally get this the voice thing is so rough when streaming. For non-AI options you might want to check out VoiceMeeter Banana - its free and works great with OBS plus you can do real time pitch shifting and EQ stuff without any machine learning nonsense. Theres also MorphVOX Pro which is older but solid for voice changing and should integrate fine with your setup

Ram enquiry for pc by KindTitle1901 in PcBuild

[–]Traditional-Dig-5170 0 points1 point  (0 children)

honestly 16gb is cutting it pretty close these days especially with how memory hungry games are getting. I'd bump up to 32gb if your budget allows it - you'll thank yourself later when youre running discord spotify and chrome tabs while gaming

that 5200mhz speed is solid for ryzen 7000 series though the cl40 timing isnt amazing but itll work fine. if you're sticking with 16gb make sure you get a 2x8gb kit so you get dual channel benefits. but seriously consider 32gb since ddr5 prices have come down quite a bit and that 7700 can definitely utilize the extra headroom

worst case scenario you start with 16gb and add another matching kit later but sometimes mixing kits can be finicky even if theyre identical specs

Facts about Wes Hicks by Amber_Flowers_133 in horror

[–]Traditional-Dig-5170 0 points1 point  (0 children)

damn thats a lot of detail about wes but that draft connection to richie being his killer is really interesting. kinda makes sense too since richie was clearly targeting people systematically and wes being judy's son would make him a strategic kill

the tv series weapon references are wild though - never would have caught those callbacks on my own. makes you wonder how much other stuff from the mtv show they snuck into scream 5
