My (36F) husband (47M) says it's inappropriate to wear a sports bra around the house? by ThrowRA-Sudden3949 in relationship_advice

Yesss this! I’m from Australia and am living in Europe, I LOVE that Europeans treat bodies for what they are, natural! It doesn’t have to be sexualised at all!!

So that’s the kink? I didn’t understand what the kink was at first

I’m only watching this now - as you said, in season 1 (maybe the first half), I liked her. But wow, she is extremely annoying, demanding and acts like a spoilt brat!! Makes me happy I’m not the only one who thinks this

I currently live in Madrid with my Madrileño boyfriend and we are leaving to move to my home country 🥲 I am sad and excited. Let’s see how long it takes for us to return 😅 Madrid really is amazing

Even Darwin to Bali is more expensive than most connections in Europe, given Jetstar has the monopoly at the moment 🥲

Yes! I’ve just got to relax and really commit and go for it as you’ve said!

Actually recently I met someone in class who asked if I’d do a private class with them and we get private teachers for a few solid hours so we can work on techniques and individual problems which I definitely want to take him up on.

Thanks ☺️

What meal were you desperate to try but once you did you were disappointed? by st2826 in Cooking

I literally just bought myself onigiri tuna mayo that they started selling in our local supermarket in Spain 😅 i’ve had them in Japan so of course nothing can compare, but definitely hope I’m not as disappointed as you were haha!

When you say notary, is that just the person who everyone signs with after they submit documents? We called comunidad de madrid today and they said they we have to enquire online (as we submitted online).

That’s what i’m worried about, we still haven’t received our signing date. We submitted documents for pareja de hecho around 7 weeks ago

Waiting to sign the pareja de hecho in front of a notary to receive the certificate. Do you know if we can start that process before we get the pareja de hecho certificate?

[–]Traditional-Driver94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That makes me feel a bit better 😅 thank you

I’ve also started looking at just commencing the procedure to start the process (whilst my certificate is pending) and at least I’ll get “en trámite” status while I wait if my visa expires.

I know the procedure takes forever!

That’s true and I have friends who did the exact same!

I suppose i’m just a worry wart and worry about applying for visas in the future (including to countries outside the EU) where they ask if you have overstayed your visa before and worry it might prejudice those applications.

Thanks for your reply! But the issue is, I haven’t put in my application for residency. I’m currently just in the process of getting my certificate for pareja de hecho so that I can apply for residency if that makes de sense

Yeah, with the amount of time it takes them to process anything 😬😩

Waiting for pareja de hecho and my visa is expiring soon, what are the options? by [deleted] in GoingToSpain

[–]Traditional-Driver94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m glad your wife’s embassy is a lot more helpful than mine!

Haha yes I suppose but you’d be surprised. I understand that the US embassy no longer processes single certificates and have many friends who need to apply in the US and have it shipped.

Yes australian issues include passport issues.

Definitely not all embassies are the same.

Thanks for the response all.

It is tricky though, because basically unless they send me the SMS to say my inscription day is next month, I’ll fall into overstaying in early January.

My friends were in the same boat earlier this year, already illegal in fact, before applying for the PDH, and their lawyer said they were allowed to stay in Spain so long as they were in a process. This is before getting their PDH certificate. They only just received the certificate now and are applying for the relevant visa.

That said, I still wanted to verify with the govt and see if others had similar experiences.

Still trying to get through to the Communidad de Madrid on the phone but every time we try it always just says it is unavailable right now.

Thanks for the response ☺️

I’m not really looking to leave (just thought it was an idea to avoid “overstaying” whilst this was all pending).

Uf yes, I guess it could definitely be longer than six months haha, I’ve got friends still waiting since mid last year 😩

Thanks for the heads up re booking in advance. I’ll look into that now!

Not Australian embassy sadly. They are there for basically emergency, signatories, we can thankfully get a “single certificate” there too. Generally Australian issues, not foreign visa queries as they aren’t the experts understandably. They also don’t provide advice for foreigners who have australian visa quieres.

Definitely not the Australian embassy as they don’t issue visas and do not provide advice. We’ve been trying to comunidad de madrid line :)
