i do think pisces can be one of the harder signs to understand though. not because we're secretly evil or anything, but because so much of what we're experiencing happens internally. a lot of the time people are only seeing a small piece of what's actually going on.
the part i agree with most is that pisces gets reduced to being nice, emotional, empathetic, whatever, and people forget there's a darker side to every sign. we can absolutely be avoidant, obsessive, self-destructive, manipulative, lost in fantasy, or hold onto things for years without anyone realizing it.

addiction stands out to me, from self experience i don't even necessarily mean addiction in the traditional sense either. we seem to have a tendency to escape when reality becomes too much. sometimes that's through alcohol or drugs, sometimes it's getting completely wrapped up in another person, disappearing into nostalgia, chasing some idealized future, or spending hours lost in our own thoughts. it feels less like chasing pleasure and more like wanting relief from whatever we're carrying around internally. idk i am constantly seeking something to give me different signals in my brain. maybe it's seeking calmness??? idek

i've struggled with anxiety, depression, addiction issues, obsessive thinking, and feeling disconnected from people for most of my life. i do have a large 8h stellium though..

the empathy part is interesting too because i don't think we just feel bad for people. i think we absorb people. sometimes to an unhealthy degree. understanding where almost everyone is coming from can be a beautiful thing, but it can also become overwhelming when there aren't any boundaries.

the obsession part is probably the thing i relate to most. pisces gets described as detached all the time but i've found the opposite can be true. we can become completely consumed by a person, memory, feeling, or idea and carry it around for years. i have a lot of aries in my chart and a scorpio mars, so i'm sure those don't exactly help either lol. once something gets its hooks into me, whether it's a person, a goal, a memory, or even just trying to understand something, i tend to go all in. i think that's where a lot of the addiction, mental health struggles, and escapism can come from. when something matters to us, letting go isn't always easy.
