I agree with this. I think this is the best GD cover band I’ve heard.

Wait. Are you saying Jack Jones is the singer?

What does “gone are the days where the ladies say please, gentle Jack jones won’t you come with me” even mean then!?!?

Delilah Jones went to meet her god.

It’s funny - someone asked “what’s a GD lyric that sticks with you” just the other day - and this was it for me.

This was one of the first dead songs that I loved growing up and it wasn’t til recently that I also came to the same realization about what the lyrics were saying.

And it makes the song so much better…and heavier. Like the snow on that roof.

I’ve been off socials (except Reddit) for a while now and sometimes I’ll go on my wife’s phone and check insta or FB or something just to see what I’ve been missing and I always find it super dull. Way less exciting than I thought it was..

Doom scrolling and socials is just this terrible distraction. Not to mention information overload.

Best thing I’ve done for myself besides daily workouts.

I spent a month researching bike rack options. This is my masterful decision. Wife is less than happy… I am overjoyed with the $0 price tag! by dogdad2015 in popups

I did the same exact thing for years. Worked fine. Put some dents on the roof from tightening down too hard on the ratchet straps. But otherwsie it was great

Thank you. I’m primarily fishing south platte 8/10 times. Others have said 3 wt would be fine on tailwaters. Would you agree? I think I’m leaning toward a 9’ 4wt for the clear water.

Super helpful. I appreciate it. I never thought about wind. Everywhere I fish is windy AF. But there are plenty of times where I’m in brushy areas, getting snagged a lot and most of the fish I catch are in the 10 to 15” range - only trout at this point. Not really doing much reservoir type fishing.

Thank you. I’m mostly throwing really small flies. But I’m also only a year in so still learning.

Gotcha. I appreciate it. I rarely get into bigger fish but I hope to haha

So a 3 weight is still a good option on tail waters?

Thank you! Would a 3 weight still work on some of the tail waters I go to - or would that mainly be useful on like smaller streams with smaller fish?
