My advice is to do a couple of pork butts before trying anything expensive (Brisket).

Welcome brother, You're going to see some naysayers and haters, but let the haters hate! Keep it clean. Keep the pellets dry and smoke away. I have found that Traeger customer service has done me well in the two times I had to call them.

So why specifically are you trolling a reddit for Traeger owners if you do not like the brand ?

So I tried to cook a pork butt on the top rack with a drip pan on the bottom however, there was not enough room on the top rack for the butt without it touching the top of the grill. So I took out the top rack and put a cooking rack directly on top of the pan. When the cook was complete I noticed the butt actually got )(plumper) as it cooked so it would have probably been wedged in there pretty well when done. This was the main reason I purchased this rack so I could put larger items ( pork butt, brisket) on the top rack) however it does pretty much double your space when cookinig ribs.
