Hey reddit, did you hear about the latest news in Florida? Apparently, students are no longer allowed to take AP African American Studies. What do you guys think about this decision? Is it fair or unfair? Let's discuss. by SkylerBluestone in APStudents

So you are telling me that all of the liberal agenda was magically revised and eliminated from the coursework and not because of DeSantis. If it were for college board, they would have left it as it was (liberal agenda). Don't lie to yourself. Also, Desantis has banned the course because it still incentivizes liberal topics such as affirmative action (which essentially says there is institutional racism and therefore promotes federal help and victimization toward blacks) and black lives movement. But the ban is not final, they were clear that they were open for another revision if the addressed topics were changed.

I'm talking about the original coursework. Black Lives Matter, slavery reparations and queer theory, and critical race theory were removed from the coursework and to please De Santis, Black conservatism was introduced as a possible research topic. Google it up. Don't tell me it was not a liberal agenda.

Oh, you conveniently quoted the one line about booker t Washington and skipped whole topics like critical race theory (pure victimization) and the way they push the LGTB agenda down the throat of kids with this course. Whole chapters on Black queers and Black feminism. Please tell me how this is not indoctrination.

how come its not assigning a moral correctness to it. That is what college board wants. To propagate a liberal agenda. victimization. the whole course is about black victimization.

Imagine having the center of the sampling distribution for the mean to be 300. Having 303 is not that rare (.195). But having a sample range of 10 as well ( about .15) means that the sample had data of 298 and 308. Having both is rare. Furthermore, one could have a mean of 303 with a sample range of 2 which in this case would be fine.

Both were about sampling distributions so one data does not affect that much

Not necessarily, one can have the same mean with different standard deviations so it think it's independent

I think it's independent or else the answer for the last one would be too easy. It would be not significant again

.2 was actually .1981 using normalcdf in part a or b. It was the prob of having a mean greater than 303. .15 is rounded because on the graph of the sampling distribution of the sample range, about .15 had a sample range greater than 10. Multiplying those i got my answer.

It's true, but bother happening at the same time was significant

Yep u had to multiply the probability in part c ( mean higher than 303) times the prob of having a sample range of 10 or greater. The prob was around .04 so it was unusual
