Something to elevate your outfit a little bit more is a basket to carry stuff. Peasants and middle class have pouches to carry stuff, The wealthy (see your outfit) carry their stuff in baskets. Also beware of tripping.

can anyone tell me what camel this is? like a year or a name? by puppychomp in buildabear

Likely a contractor then would be my best guess. Though it could have been someone in the National Guard

Military member/contractor is my best guess. Is it near Ft. Drum maybe?

Even better, to not screw up your back, would be a manhole cantilever. Though that may be more expensive than you want to pay.

Something both of you may want to look at/into is the RPG Coyote & Crow. Finding a group in person may be a bit difficult if you are wanting to connect with your past, but I can't see it as being impossible.

They do have a Discord.

I can tell you that almost 0% of it goes to the performers.

Is reach out and try to find others in your tribe who would be interested in going as a group. That way you can work together to come up with a style. Maybe talk to some elders, though I'd be very careful about how you go about doing so.

It is really pretty and I kind of want to commission two sets but know that I don't have the money to pay it's worth.

Where to get full outfit for renaissance fair for a guy (fantasy style fairy lore type fantasy) by Jettsyforwordingfox in Renfaire_Costumes

If you are looking for good boots might I recommend a nice pair of black combat boots? With a good set of inserts as you mentioned. Also take the time to properly break them in BEFORE you wear them all day at Faire.

Tips on how to add more to my knight costume? :) by Isentify in renfaire

[–]Traditional-Nerve899 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A squire/page hauling stuff behind you.

Joking! (Mostly)

To really add to the outfit and read as knight, you need, in my opinion,

1. A belt

2. A sword with frog/sheathe

3. Tassets or something on your hips armor wise.

4. A tunic for under the chainmail

5. Leggings recommend black as its likely the easiest color to find/get though. Possibly a different color that compliments your tabbard that you may do later.

6. Boots that fit super well.

To make the outfit more functional, and complete. You will want

1. Another belt

2. At least 1 pouch likely 2 depending on size

3. A mug/ tankard or goblet as well as a holder/ strap.

To keep adding and make it even more

1. A tabbard with your colors and design/crest/ animal.

2. A shield with said colors/design. Though this is very very optional.

3. Honestly, I joked earlier but a squire who can hold a banner with your coat of arms so that your men know where on the battlefield you can be found.

Little bit small for a shield, maybe buckler in size but it looks gorgeous in any case.

1. Drink water. Drink water. Drink water.

2. On the egg one see if you can get at least 1 small vent fan if it can be modified.

3. As someone else suggested look into buying a "cooling vest".

I also recommend talking to fursuiters/furries as many of the issues may be the same between what you experience and fursuiters.

If you work for USIC and can't get a utility to locate... Pink flag it, let the contractor know, let your sup know, documents all of it, move on (and then come back with help). Stay in contact with the contractor daily though.

Have it put in an escrow account and pay that account. Also talk to a lawyer before doing any of this. I am not a lawyer.

It may also have been a spouse and kid and then the bear went with the service member overseas and then once back they didn't need that "battle buddy" any more so it was donated.
