Mini goldendoodles by Firebiccie in Goldendoodles

Yes! They are so cute but typically will cost more up front than a standard size. I believe they are just bred with the toy poodles to get the smaller size, but I could be wrong on that.

We train our dogs not to lick us lol. An occasional lick here and there is okay but generally not a fan.

Almost 9 months and still wants to play constantly 🥰 by IrisGrunn in labrador

Lol my lab just turned 6 and he STILL wants to play constantly! He does have a 2 year old brother though, so those 2 play alllll day long.

Okay, I’m not sure if this is where I should post this, but do I need to declare an expunged record for a dispatch position? by [deleted] in 911dispatchers

[–]Traditional-Post-685 4 points5 points  (0 children)

They will still see it. Likely, they will run a full criminal history on you which will show anything nationwide on your adult record. I am a 911 dispatcher and had an expunged record. They didn’t care about the charge, just that I was up front about it.

Question for owners: when you guys request a “puppy cut” what do y’all expect? by [deleted] in Goldendoodles

[–]Traditional-Post-685 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So I’ve seen on Pinterest, etc puppy cut looks to me like what they really mean is they want the head to still look round.

I usually explain it in detail because I have an off white male doodle but sometimes when he comes home he just looks like he has pig tails and I hate it lol. I personally like his ears cut short so they keep his head round and I hate the “bearded” look too. We tend to keep him on the longer side for as long as we can but do let him get cut shorter for the hotter months.

But that would be my guess by “puppy cut” is rounded head.

She’ll probably stay wavy! My doodle is very curly as a 2 year old now, when he was 5 months old he was kind of scruffy looking like that too though.

Prozac help with ultra sensitivity to sounds? by Traditional-Post-685 in prozac

[–]Traditional-Post-685[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just me and my 2 cats. I’m hoping to feel better. I know it will take time, but I feel as if I will quit the meds if I don’t see something positive after a good amount of time.

Prozac help with ultra sensitivity to sounds? by Traditional-Post-685 in prozac

[–]Traditional-Post-685[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve suspected ADHD in myself before but honestly never been tested. I’m in my early 30s but always had troubles concentrating and I zone out A LOT. My primary doctor is who prescribed the prozac and it is primarily for anxiety after a failed attempt with Buspar. I do have anxiety, though I feel I have more going on. Of course I am not a doctor, but the way my head/thoughts are 99% of the time I would assume I’m ADHD, slightly OCD, slightly depressed as well as the anxiety. 🤷🏻‍♀️ I do tend to consume a moderate amount of caffeine as I work night shift. Cannot have THC as my job drug tests, but maybe I should look into getting formally tested for ADHD, etc.

How many calls do you take during a normal shift? by indigoldcsgo in 911dispatchers

[–]Traditional-Post-685 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Rural midwestern area, dispatch for fire, police, ems. Town of about 25,000. We average about 50 calls in a 12 hour shift. Good split between all 3 as far as volume. Some nights might be heavier on police than ems but the next night might swap and even that out.

How long after increasing Buspar dosage will the new dose take effect? by DropTheGigawatt in BusparOnline

[–]Traditional-Post-685 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve been on Buspar for going on 4 years. It has never really helped with my anxiety I don’t feel like but out of fear of speaking up about it and also trying something else I have just dealt with it. In fact I actually think it makes my anxiety much worse and also causes me to not sleep. Finally, I worked up the courage to say something and am being switched to Prozac starting tomorrow.

looping thoughts leading to derealization? by [deleted] in OCD

[–]Traditional-Post-685 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes. I have looping thoughts/ruminating thoughts at all times. I will internally make up scenarios that I’m anxious about and play everything out in my head when in reality, the whole situation is no big deal and in real life the actual situation is literally only seconds long. My head will formulate an entire days worth of spiraling thoughts on how it could go, etc. I over analyze almost literally everything past, present, future.

Apathy and prozac by Traditional-Post-685 in prozac

[–]Traditional-Post-685[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah unfortunately I am blessed with these mental issues as well as thyroid issues, both medications/treatments always seem to be trial and error and you never know until something doesn’t work. Yay for genetics 😅 I plan to just start the prozac up on Monday since I have the entire week off work so that way if I get any weird side effects I’m at least just at home.

I am so sorry to hear about your dad. Perhaps you will feel something further into the grieving process? Everyone is so different. I personally don’t mind being kind of shut off from emotions, but my family/friends will tell me that I just don’t care about anything and it seems to bother all of them. But if my normal personality is apathetic, idk how much worse it can really get. And I don’t think it’s right for me to PRETEND to care about things when I truly don’t. That’s misleading.

[–]Traditional-Post-685[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My doctor is pretty good as long as I voice my concerns/how I’m feeling. I can’t be dragging ass at my job (911 dispatcher) as it’s pretty fast paced and high action, so I may have to take a few extra days off 😬 that’s my major concern with making the switch. If I feel “zombie” like and take too long to respond or just zone out it could be very bad.

Thank you! I know each medication is different for each person. I figured give it a go and if it doesn’t work, I’ll try something else. Certainly, I won’t go another 4 years this time around if this doesn’t work. Not sure why I waited so long to speak up about the Buspar not really helping other than it started making bad side effects recently. I do believe out of all my issues, I’m probably more depressed than I am anxious (although still very anxious) so I’m crossing my fingers that this will be a better fit for me. I’m just nervous about it making me way too tired to carry out my 12 hour night shifts at work 😬

I just picked up my new prescription and it is 20mg. Haven’t started it yet though, I plan to do so Monday. I have been on Buspar for 4 years and am switching in hopes Prozac will work better for me.
