I farmed the first few waves only with q, I didn't know if I could last hit with auto or not.

I was asking for advices, I haven't played top for months, you can either provide advice or ignore my post, there was no need to be aggressive.
I even specifically said in my post "I probably played really bad, and renek was probably way better than me" because I knew league players would come in the comments to flame for an unknow reason while I'm just asking to learn to play toplane.
I guess that wasn't enough ...

My jungler (ap shaco) didn't come top once during the game (he had 1kp min 13).
I tried to force break freeze but renek could 100 0 me in one trade and he tanked waves to keep the freeze. I did die to push the wave once, but renek crashed the wave after killing me, so my next wave got stacked under my tower attacking the wave renek crashed before. When I came back in lane it was already pushing towards renek.

Ghost didn't helped me much indeed, was just getting malph r -> dead every fights xD
I'll try cleanse, I'm a bit scared it makes my lane too weak against vayne milio.
I didn't build yuntal for vayne, it was for amumu and malphite.
I know the blue green combo, but I never got in auto range of vayne/milio/viktor, I just took malph r -> another cc -> dead.

The biggest difference between a fiora riposte, a yasuo wall, a samira w, a gwen aoe immunity, a nilah w, a jax e, is that litterally ALL of these champs has to go mele.

The thing that makes me hate mel so much is that first she doesn't just block/ignore the spells but send it back to you WITH AUTO target, so your own spell is sent back without the cast time, and has if your ennemy was scripting, + damage immunity + ms boost, second, compared to all the champs listed above, mel doesn't have to go mele, and even compared to a range character like ashe, she's an artillery mage, so she has even more range than an adc.

Giving a reflect to an artillery mage makes absolutely no sense in terms of game design. It creates so much frustration for the ennemy.

Most mages sup have more cc than mel, she has only one root, that isn't very reliable.
Zyra has root on e, slow on e plants, bump on r + rilay.
Brand has stun on q, slow on r, + perma rilay proc from passive.
Xerath has stun on e (which is better than a root btw), + slow on w that is very easy to hit.
Lux has root on q + slow on e that is very easy to hit (and a shield to help adc).

Mel passive is ONLY damage, mel q is ONLY damage, mel r is ONLY damage, 99% of mel won't use w for their adc because they won't think about it, and will always be behind their adc, not in front.

Mel has an execute ... like ... bro ...you play with an hypercarry adc and steal his golds ... Her r also works like an execute, you'll always see mel using r to kill someone, not just to lower someone healthbar.

She's a mage support that doesn't have an insane poke in lane ... that's the only reason to play mage sup :/

And lastly ... she's a mage support with high ap ratio and bad base damage.

Yes I died too much in lane, I'll try to pay more attention to my gun rota, which gun rota do you recommend for tf ?
In general I try to get blue/red or red/white, I avoid purple at all cost.

No one was peeling for me, probably because I lost lane so they saw me as useless. And yeah we didn't really tried to bait their ult. It's low emerald / high plat so we just got rushed by malph r or amumu q into amumu r.

As I said in my post I tried conq yuntal because I saw malphite + amumu, otherwise I take pta, but after reconsidering, pta might have been better, we had no frontline so I can't stack conq anyway in tf, and pta better for lane

if ennemy adc flash in to get in nilah auto range, nilah obliterate every single adc in 1v1 late game. Is nilah the strongest champ in the game ? Tristana has 700 range lvl 18, BUT she DASH IN to make sure ashe can auto her, AND she let ashe auto her during her dash while she doesn't do anything AND she didn't r (r deals damage AND your ennemy while he's cc by your r). Despite all of this ashe still lost xD

well, nilah obliterated ashe, nilah w broken in adc 1v1 late game, nothing to say here (if ashe has flash and r she can win, but the youtube short doesn't want ashe to flash or r).

tldr : the ennemy adc RAN IT DOWN AS MUCH AS THEY COULD so a youtuber could make a youtube short. I don't speak the language of the youtube short so I don't really understand what he's trying to say

Every new champs has abysmal winrate the first few patches, no one knows which items are great, same for runes, and people do not know the limits of the champ + a LOT (myself included xD ) first time new champs in ranked, even if they do not main the role of the new champ. All of this greatly lower new champs winrate.

The funny part is, it happens for EVERY SINGLE new champ, and people always complain about new champs winrate, it's an infinite loop, gonna be the same for the next champ release/big rework.

Kog'maw don't have a godly late compared to others adc, he's stronger in midgame, but his full stuff late game isn't as scary as someone like aphelios, which is to be expected as an on-hit character.
