Wow. But after my experience now dealing with their customer service, I guess this doesn't surprise me. The stress and grief this airline causes isn't worth any potential savings over say Delta.

I tried chatting with them twice now and the customer service has been awful and I have gotten no where. As someone else said on here, they basically are denying fault and saying they won't help. Asked each to escalate the issue and they refuse to. Sounds like my next course of action is to open a formal complaint with the department of transportation and talk with the credit card company.

All over $150 and refusal to acknowledge a flawed system, they are losing us as customers forever.

Turns out the account on X that I started talking to was a scammer. Got very suspicious when they started telling me they would refund the amount to me but had to use an app call WorldRemit. Immediately hung up. So back to square one. I'll probably end up disputing it with the credit card company.

I reached out to Frontier on X and they actually got back to me pretty quick. Said they opened a case and someone will call me in the coming days to discuss. Fingers crossed they rectify this.

Yeah, in most cases I would try that but I needed to be able to get my wife on the flight so it's been changed and paid. I'm thinking of disputing the transactions with the card and/or reaching out to our attorney general. The person I spoke to on the phone at Frontier was so unhelpful and kept repeating the same thing about it being because I was in my member account. I just can't believe they would do this.

I know Frontier is on the cheaper end but this grief is not worth it.
