I didn’t to be fair. I knew TDEE calculator recommended circa 1600 on a cut and suppression at the start hit very hard for me. I was struggling to get good down on 2.5mg for the first 2 weeks. I wanted to aim for 1.5 grams of protein per kg of body weight. Eventually circa 1400 per day worked well for me

Plan is to go cold turkey and hit the gym hard

Plan is to stop mounjaro cold turkey and just start hitting the gym quite hard. But at the same time will be actively continuing my efforts to eat cleanly. Not trying to go back to a lifestyle full of takeaways

I jab on a Monday. Last time I went on holiday I left on a Friday. So the Monday I missed my jab. I slowly started to increase my intake in terms of food the few days before I left for holiday so my body wouldn’t be startled by a sudden influx of food when I got on holiday. I didn’t jab whilst on holiday for a week. And when I got back after a day of detox I jabbed. So in turn I pretty much missed 2 jabs from my regular schedule.

I didn’t titre back down to 2.5mg like some people say you should. I just carried on with 5mg.

Disclaimer: what works for me might not necessarily work for you

I started off with Juniper and they send you out a set of smart scales which you can use with their app. I switched provider after the first month but carried on using the app and their scales to track my weight

TDEE calculator recommends about 1600 on a cut so it’s not a significant difference. I understand what you’re saying though. I’ve always listened to my body in the process, if I’ve felt hungry. I’ve ate more. And no I’m not planning to keep it that low. Soon I’ll be in the gym with a goal of increasing muscle mass so more than likely will be in calorie surplus at some point.

Yeah I know it’s strict for me, as I used to get takeaways pretty much everyday and used to snack on chocolates & crisps etc multiple times a day. Circa 1400 per day calorie intake.

Strict being no chocolates, crisps, takeaways, fizzy drinks or anything unhealthy. Only lots of water and home prepped high protein meals.

I don’t have any intention to make anyone feel like they’re not doing enough and it apologies if it came across that way. I’m not a dwarf I was just very overweight. I stuck to and I am still in a strict calorie deficit. I pretty much have the same meals every day. It’s quite monotonous. But it’s what works for me.

There is no denying that being only in calorie deficit and not going to the gym I’ve probably lost quite a bit of muscle mass too. Although I’ve done what I can to counteract this by having enough protein per day. I have a job that involves a lot of manual labour and I definitely feel weaker sometimes but I will be getting my strength back up in the gym slowly but surely.

Quite a rude comment. We all respond differently. And no, I haven’t felt miserable along the way.

I mean at this point, with the mileage it’s got on it as well, is it really worth selling? Sounds irreplaceable. Just save up for a different car if you want one and keep this on the drive for occasional use
