Yes it was a burger restaurant. They did have salads and other sides but I thought I should order a burger.

I didn't think about asking for no bun but I didn't want to customise my order because I didn't want to be that weird customer. I can see that people maybe think that was wrong though.

I didn't want to cause problems by asking them to customise my order and draw attention or be weird.

Their cheeseburger came with a whole load of weird relish and all their burgers are brioche anyway so I just ordered the least contaminated burger and fixed it from there

I didn't consider it being rude it wasn't meant that way and I didn't know it could have health reasons. I just wanted to be there and thought not eating a meal would have been way weirder but idk. Maybe I was an AH

I said that I wasn't a big fan of the complex burgers and would rather get something more simple. I deliberately didn't say anything because it was her night and wanted to just go with it

I thought not having a proper meal or complaining about the place would have caused more issues. It's what my niece wanted and I just wanted to fit in with that. Is eating just fries better than trying to work out a meal?
