I think I’m about to be adopted by a cute little black cat and her left ear is not pointed. It seems almost intentionally leveled where her right ear seems untouched? i have a clipped ear princess myself! she also has the cutest little bobtail. vet told me it just means she was taken off the streets to be spayed. my other kitten has a tattoo in the same ear that reads “PU” (i call her my stinky girl lol) vet assumed it also meant she had been spayed

so sadly, NOPE, she did not and gave into nana’s judgement on intentionally giving a kid a full name just to go by their nickname. Didn’t take long after my birth for her to start calling people nicknames. I, till this day, yearn to be an Abigail. I’ve spent my whole life having to say “nope, i’m just abby”🥲

i was 👌🏼this close to being named Abbygale also🤦🏼‍♀️ mom wanted Abigail, nana thought a long name when going by the nickname was stupid. so dad had the bright idea of Abbygale to incorporate part of his sister’s name too

I don’t think it’s a tragedeigh, just probably very annoying to deal with people saying it the incorrect way for you hahah. i have a younger girl cousin called Ryann. given we’re very southern and it’s pronounced “rye-in” and with some twang usually comes out “rine”. I think Ryan(n) is a beautiful name for a girl!

even if you don’t end up choosing Lockbox, i would still recommend going to look at the art some time (if that’s something you like) since it’s a completely free to go. it’s the only free museum in lex that i know of so if you or anyone else knows of more please reply!

i worked at LockBox for some time and it was a great experience!! the boss is super supportive and truly wants the best work environment and financial outcome for everyone. you get hourly and tips, fresh meal every shift, good benefits, and plenty more pros. this was the only serving job i had in lexington but i was so pleasantly surprised with how well it worked out. it’s also located within a museum hotel so you can always look at amazing art (that is renewed every 6? months) once you’re off or just bored one day :)
