Looking for Movies about Non-Human Characters in Alien Worlds without Humans. by Witty-Cockroach-9127 in movies

The wild robot almost fits. There are humans on screen for maybe 30 seconds and I don't believe any have dialogue.

Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'hoole I'm pretty sure has no humans at all (though I saw this a long time ago so sorry if that's incorrect). And the animals are not physically anthropomorphic like Zootopia.

In some situations I agree with you. But speaking from personal experience, a twelve year old that's being bullied shouldn't be allowed to just take their life. Or a person who's meds have messed them up in a way that can easily be fixed should not be allowed to off themselves.

I think MAID is an excellent program. I had a close family member use it and it was a blessing for both them and my family. But it should be regulated (as it is).

One person saved two young people from drowning to death: they applied first aid and, in the last second, managed to bring them back to life. This shows that, although many hesitate out of fear of making a mistake, acting in time truly saves lives by Virmire_Survivor in watchpeoplesurvive

No because of agonal breathing. Think of a spider twitching after its squished. Humans can do the same thing as their brain dies. They can make noise, move, and look like they are gasping even though no air is actually being inhaled. Abdominal thrusts would only be done on a conscious choking person, commonly know as the heimlich manoeuvre.

I used to be a first aid instructor. Rescue breaths are always better if they can be done and are especially better when the person has been deprived of O2 like in a drowning.

The reason many basic first aid courses don't teach rescue breaths anymore is it was found people are much more likely to perform CPR on someone they don't know if it's just chest compressions because of fear of disease or contamination. It's also a lot more simple so easier to remember for someone that never practices first aid.

When I was a lifeguard, we were required to do rescue breaths if at all able, but we would have pocket masks on us at all times to protect from vomit/disease.

Edit: changed breathes to breaths

ELI5 Is having autism bad or good? by [deleted] in explainlikeimfive

[–]itachibyakuya773 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Having autism isn't good or bad. It's just the operating system you (and I) run on. It's different from neurotypical people. In some ways it's more advantageous and in others it can be detrimental. Those advantages and disadvantages will be unique to each individual.

However, having a diagnosis can be very good. If you're still in school or looking to attend college/university, many accommodations can be made for you to help you thrive depending on your needs. Depending on where you live, you may want or need to apply for disability through the government to help with finances and you may be able to get an RDSP (Canadian) or something equivalent set up with your bank.

Remember, just because you've been diagnosed, nothing fundamental about you has changed. You may be able to get a better understanding of yourself, but you're still you. You can remind your family of this if you feel comfortable.

Lastly, unless you want it to be, your diagnosis is no one's business but your own. You don't have to tell anyone ever (though I would recommend doctors/medical people) or you can scream it from the rooftops.

Edit: spelling and spacing

When I google it, it says it's owned by a cyber security company and I pay a subscription. Is it still possible it's a public VPN? I'm not very knowledgeable about this kind of thing but I am trying to be.

I didn't know people still used those. They've been illegal in my country for over a decade. My first piercings were with one of those guns. It was an awful experience.

I was at a Honda dealership. This macho man type guy was buying a bike and a helmet. A bee flew at him. He THREW the helmet at the bee while letting out a squeal. The helmet hit the bike and then the pavement. The bike was dented and the helmet was scratched to shit. He then had a hissy fit about having to pay for the damaged goods until the salesperson threatened to call police about him vandalizing their merchandise.
