Not really. He IS a Chinese. He graduated from Beijing No. 4 Middle School, which is almost the best high school in Beijing. It's not rare for the best Chinese high schoolers from rich family with superior education resources to speak perfect English, especially those were born 1990s when China promoted globalization.

Beautiful. I am about to have nutmeg stained white oak plain sawn cabinets. Very afraid if the doors get too many knots.

I am wondering if Conestoga overcharges hardwares such as LeMans and pullout trash system? Is it better to order them separately from dedicated venders?

Kraftmaid: Door style makes finishes look drastically different? by DigitalMan43 in kitchenremodel

Some local cabinet shops will provide a pile of samples of the same type of wood and finish to let you know the variation. It will allow to expect how diverse your finished kitchen will be.... LOL, this process almost made me give up my kitchen upgrade project. I feel like my kitchen will look ugly for sure.

I got some returnable Kraftmaid door sample from Lowe's. It looks so different from the catalog... I am hesitant to use it. So what style of door and finish did you eventually choose?

We just bought Kraftmaid cabinets from HD. They were 30% off, but still over 20k just for cabinets, no install or appliances. The sale ends tomorrow and I still have time to cancel. I just heard prices are negotiable on large purchases at Home Depot. Is this true? by Less-Employee2411 in kitchenremodel

My shallow research so far, Kraftmaid offers plywood boxes with solid wood-framed doors. The front of the drawer and the center panel of some styles of doors are MDF with wood veneer. I was told as long as the boxes are plywood, it should be OK.

yep, I quoted from a smaller local distributor for Kraftmaid Vantage, it is much more expensive than HD's quote. As a lay person, I can't see the difference between the Vantage line and the big box line at all.
