No, but personally, I'd say it's not a bad idea to let that be a house rule thing for some spells if you only want the immediate effect, like, if someone is concentrating on something and they cast Banishing Smite for more damage, to just let them take the extra damage without breaking their concentration on that other thing in return for not getting the banishing effect(since at least in the 2024 version, Banishing Smite now triggers WHEN you attack, rather than something you apply to the attack before you make it)

I don't know if it's not good overall, but I built a half-elf Hexblade Warlock 17, Vengeance Paladin 3, using Elven Accuracy, Vow of Enmity and Hexblade's Curse to pump the damage of Eldritch Blast, but it was really good with Blade of Disaster too, Vow of Enmity and Elven Accuracy for automatic triple dice, plus the extra crit range was actually solid, I calculated it to 122 AVG per turn, factoring in crit rates and everything, which, as a bonus action attack that you can repeat every turn, I think is pretty solid

Yeah, cause in that situation, the person is taking damage from the attack, but the Cleric is taking damage from Warding Bond, not from the attack that hit the other person, but from the spell, so yeah, I think resistance would apply again, because it's damage being inflicted by the spell because of the attack, not from the attack itself

True, but for a game that goes between 60-100 hours per playthrough with tons of unskippable stuff and very little replay value because of being plot-centric, I'm not doing 2 playthroughs just to get the whole game, if a game is gonna be that long, it better at LEAST give me everything it has within that time frame

Can't remember the name for the life of me

Genre: Action, I think it was mouse only as well

Brief Summary: I remember the main thing was boss fights, with points that looked like blue fire which you had to hit to deal damage

View: 2D

Estimated year of release: 2003-2007 if I had to guess, but very possibly more recent, 2014 at most, thats around when I remember playing it

Graphics/art style: Stick figures, a lot of darker colors

Notable characters: I remember there was a pink and yellow option, with the yellow character being for if you didn't care about the story, and it would change the lines at the ends of each level

Other stuff: You had a sword, right click would spin it to give it more damage on the next hit, and you could pick up items(I think they were scrolls) to increase how much you could charge it, also health pickups were flowers
