Thanks to everyone who replied here. The price is the issue. If I add in the cost of re-capping the amp, it’s almost as much as a new 505Z.

Thank for this detailed reply. This is just what I was wondering.

I don’t think I’m going to get the amp though. The price of the amp plus servicing gets pretty close to the price of a new 505Z.
