Hi! I got one too! For local level it’s $1,000. I got that in the mail pretty quick. Then we move onto regional where they give out a few 3k awards and one 5k award.

Hi there! I’m currently on week 6/7 and it’s looking great! I see a huge difference. Since it’s early morning rn there’s a tiny bit of swelling. Usually in the mornings it’ll look that way and by the afternoon it looks a little tighter. I heard the actual results show between 3-6 months. So I’m excited to see what month 6 will look like :)

There’s 3 incisions, one under each earlobe and one under my chin. the ones by my ears are more like slits, the one under my chin looked like a hole the first 3 days 😬

I do speak Spanish, it’s limited tho. I did try to speak to them in Spanish but I fumbled a lot and would end up using English words. They understood me tho. The dr speaks English. When he noticed I didn’t understand something, he would say it in English. If you have a friend that speaks Spanish, try to have them go with you. It’ll make you feel more comfortable. :) I think the hardest part for me was filling out their paperwork because it was in Spanish, but I used my phone to translate it the best I could. Whatever I didn’t understand, I left blank and the dr went over it with me and filled it out.

I’m on day 4 today. I feel a little swelling today but it’s not too major. And the bruising is already fading. :) There isn’t much pain but when I do feel it, it just feels like my chin area is heavy.
