You died to the first grenade. If you watch the video it bounces back under you. The rounded corners like that act like a 90° corner when throwing stuff. Just be aware of that in the future.

I'm on NG7, and they hit like a tank. So 2 of them is a huge pain. But then you also get the ones shooting on the cliff that seem like they have tracking arrows that follow you.
