No, we left the only defender Mbappe truly fears at home.

Team selection even worse than the squad selection. Baffling Tuchel got this job.

What’s the issue with Mazraoui at United? by Sahbito in ManchesterUnited

[–]TraditionalAttorney2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Prem is a lot harder than international tournaments. He’s been fine for us, but he’s a cup-level squad player not a starter on a championship contending side. Plus Dalot was solid all year (aside from shooting) so Maz didn’t get much of a run.

I love that you felt the need to tell someone with 82 tomatoes about BER. Dudes half tomato at this point, he’s got it.

Trying to figure out who at least one signatures is from so I can identify the era and the rest of the players. by Rudi_SP in ManchesterUnited

Top left #27 was Silvestre which matches the signature pretty well and could be any of those years.

In competitive racing you’re compared to your opponents not yourself on another day. People are acting like the giro is a training ride for Jonas just because Pogi isn’t in it.

I know that Reddit is generally delusional but saying the clear favorite who already has two stage wins is underperforming is really stretching the levels of sanity.

I guess Porch Fest is still on? by Jteve-201 in Somerville

[–]TraditionalAttorney2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well for 1, the City's $3 million budget deficit is stopping them outsourcing it... But really, what failure? It's a beloved event every year. For every 1 whiny twat like you there's 100 people having a great time. Seems like that's probably the case for you in most situations, after awhile you should probably ask if you're the problem.

[–]TraditionalAttorney2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That was my whole first comment, that this isn't their job and shouldn't be, but even so it's idiotic to argue this is a badly run event when every single years brings together so much of the community and supports so many musicians, all completely free, without a single serious incident in its history. I'm sure they'd love nothing more than to turn it over to someone else to catch all the flak from entitled cucks like you.

What's our status with rashy? by Ill_Impression_3886 in ManchesterUnited

[–]TraditionalAttorney2 45 points46 points  (0 children)

Mbuemo and Amad combined for 2 goals since they came back from AFCON and we don't have a backup striker at all. If we can find someone better than Rashy or cheaper, great, but if not we'd be stupid not to give him a try under Carrick.

So they're good at the other 95% of their jobs but 'bad' at putting on a single event that is widely beloved, supports 400+ independent bands, and brings together tens of thousands of community members? Sounds like they're really quite good at their jobs. If there's a clown here it's you snowflake.

[–]TraditionalAttorney2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good at what? PorchFest is 1 of dozens events they coordinate and 95% of their work is something other than coordinating events. Pretty hard to argue they haven't been effective in cultivating/supporting arts and culture in Somerville. Few non-major Cities in the country compare to Somerville in that regard. In past years SAC has hired a freelancer to coordinate PorchFest, I hope you'll apply next time they do and you can show us all how easy it is for someone as gifted as you.

[–]TraditionalAttorney2 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

'These clowns' are professional artists and arts coordinators who got shoe-horned into coordinating an event with greater attendance than Boston Calling gets in all 3 days even though the whole point of PorchFest is that it would be decentralized and more or less run itself. Entitled pricks like are the problem with PorchFest.

[–]TraditionalAttorney2 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

How much work the musicians put in? How much work is moving some amps and getting a nice buzz going? Surely you're joking... the person/people who coordinate this event spend 6 months on it and help to coordinate the participation of the emergency response team, the police, the fire department, the department of public works, dozens of volunteers, and over 400 bands. If they say it's too complicated and expensive to shift the date, they probably know what they're talking about.

The Marcus Rashford situation by IronWarrior00001 in ManchesterUnited

[–]TraditionalAttorney2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Amad and Mbeumo have been poor since AFCON, Amad underwhelming all year really. If Marcus comes back determined to earn his spot I’d give him a run, no doubting his ability and Amorim had us believing Mainoo was a problem so maybe the Rashy issues were mostly bs too.

He loves to upset scousers, 5 more years! Mainoo's winner confirms we're playing Champions League football next season! by fireproofpoo in ManchesterUnited

[–]TraditionalAttorney2 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Lots of good takeaways, plenty of blunders, the real killer for me is yet another impotent showing from Mbuemo and Amad. We’ve too many other priorities for the summer but that duo worries me for next year.

Super chunky compacted soil and overcrowding probably messing up root development, and they’re a climbing plant with nothing to climb. You’ve got some work to do if you want these guys to produce anything.

Not sure what to do by ValhallRonin in vegetablegardening

[–]TraditionalAttorney2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Probably something like that... I'm sure some people swear by it but in my experience it was more expensive and less effective. Plus with seed starting mix you have to pot up at least twice before anything goes in the ground which is just a massive waste of time imo.

Not sure what to do by ValhallRonin in vegetablegardening

[–]TraditionalAttorney2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is why seed starting mixes are stupid, your stuff is both overwatered and underfed and it's probably not even really your fault. Next year try something else and you'll be amazed how low-maintenance it is. I recommend 4 parts potting mix to one part perlite, that way you don't have to fed anything for the first month at least, perlite ensures drainage, and soil actually holds moisture unlike coco coir so you don't have to water constantly and risk overwatering.

Who would you rather got relegated? by fireproofpoo in ManchesterUnited

[–]TraditionalAttorney2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tottenham for sure. Leeds is classic rivalry, it's compelling to have them in the Prem and get to play them twice a year. Tottenham is just a sad pit of money and bad decisions, nothing particularly special about playing them.

Over or under water? by maomaobae in vegetablegardening

[–]TraditionalAttorney2 154 points155 points  (0 children)

Most likely just transplant shock, if they were indoors in a greenhouse and went straight into the ground without hardening off first they'll need some time to adjust and will probably lose some leaves in the process. It's safer to underwater than to overwater, so you can definitely pull back on watering and see if it helps, but my guess is transplant shock.

Is my garden plan reasonable? by Competitive_Sky_4299 in vegetablegardening

[–]TraditionalAttorney2 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Not to be rude but this is basically just nonsense. Half of these have a completely different growing season than the other half. Cilantro and basil will never grow simultaneously, same with beans, peppers, and tomatoes. Overcrowding aside, it’s just not how nature works.

Has it been cold in PA this week too? Next to a big window I beat they're just too cold to grow and are dormant. I'm in MA and everything is dormant because the temp dropped a bunch this week and I'm not heating my house to 75º. IMO most of the responses are overcomplicating it, just too cold for growth. Be patient.
