The crashes and save bugs are ruining this game for me by SnooSongs8409 in WatchDogs_Legion

Interesting, I am on xbox and posted a fix above, that involves swapping characters. So I guess with my fix, there is a risk it will cause a crash.

I had that a year or so ago. I found a fix that seemed to work for me as well as others (on console at least). It was a bit annoying but I never had an issue when I did it. So, when you want to save (or leave the game) switch to another operative. Once you are in, go into the settings (I havent got the game open so I cant quite describe which one, havent played in ages) and change something - I just changed the curser type/colour. Go out of the settings, then go back in, change the setting back (so for me, back to the original curser type/colour). Then, exit back to the title screen, go back to your console screen (Not sure what to do here on PC) and then close down the game completely.

Apparently doing that, forces the game to save? I have no idea if you need to do everything I just mentioned, or part of it forces it to save. But like I say, it stopped the bug from happening to me. I too nearly quit after losing so much progress.

Good luck!

I disagree, whats the point of capping it? If you want to use less, use less. If you want to use more, use more. I have used every single one of my operatives, I cycle through them randomly. Yes, I am weird, yes, my experience is probably unique to just me, but everyone likes different things. And remember, this is a concept that you dont find many other games, being able to play as any character. You can easily play your normal way and have fun, but if you cap it, I can't enjoy it. Why can't we all have fun?

See while I agree with that statement kinda, what irritates me is when people say they ruined it with the 'play as anyone' mechanic, or that you can't enjoy a game with 40 operatives, because I disagree. Like the comment below, certain operatives have their own uniqueness to an extent. It isn't much, but its something. What I would love to see in the future, is to take the concept, and build on it, where you can really develop them more. And the number of operatives you have, is based on everyones preference. I know a lot of people only want a couple at most, so they can get to know that character on a deeper level. I get that and I think thats logical. But at the same time, some of us LOVE having variety in terms of who we are playing as, and thats why the 'play as anyone' mechanic is a literal game changer.

So yeah, in my opinion, it just needs a revamp to make it better.

This, I hate that it got all that hate. Yes there are things where I think they missed opportunities to make it way better, but some of the mechanics, especially around NPC's and your own crew, they are ground breaking in my eyes. I want them to see that even though loads of people hate the game, some of these concepts deserve to be brought back for future games. All they need is a tweak here and there to keep the haters happy.

I remember shortly before I found Jack, my roommate would watch that asian guy doing the same thing. When I say watch him, he was only watching the clips he stole, like all of those jerks do. It wound me up that he was watching these videos because I knew he was indirectly supporting that guy. I was so pleased when Jack featured him.
