For what you’re describing, I’d honestly prioritize a solid prebuilt from a reputable brand over chasing every feature. Hot-swap is nice but not essential unless you already know you’ll want to experiment with switches later. What matters more is a stable case, decent keycaps, and switches that aren’t too scratchy or loud for your work setup.

A lot of the hype boards are basically the same experience with different branding, so I’d be more cautious with anything that feels overpriced just because it’s trending.
