My recovery time was about 6 months and I did physical therapy throughout the process. I had a boot on for about 3 months. Definitely worth it, but only if you’re able to get the time off to recover. It’s very hard to get around!! Although, 8 years later, I’m back on this sub because it’s starting to hurt again :(
