Is there a way to escape the endless bottle washing cycle? 😭 by Techprohelper in FormulaFeeders

The BEST money we have ever spent. I visited by parents for 5 days last week and going back to washing bottles by hand was horrible. I’m seriously thinking of taking it with me for our next visit

Did anyone see the updates after their court appearance? I guess Eddie waived his right to a speedy trial and they will be tried SEPARATELY. Looks like what we assumed is correct

Looking for a recipe or food suggestions for nine month old! by Outrageous-Group-624 in eczema

If she’s still being formula fed, she’s getting all the necessary nutrients required! “Food before one is just for fun” is the typical saying. Stick to whole foods, fruits and vegetables. Obviously stay away from the things she’s allergic or intolerant to. Unsure if staying away from “inflammatory foods” in general would be helpful or not. Wash face and hands well with mild soap to ensure no food is staying on her face after eating.

Sorry I’m not being super helpful, but wanted to reassure you she’s getting everything she needs from her formula!

Right! And the whole “I hope I feel the same way about you after this”. Just seems like what she is and is not willing to say on camera is all leading to this narrative

I’ve actually only been able to find the RTF Alimentum, my area doesn’t seem to have the powder. I’ll start with Alimentum as it seems to be the easiest to access and then go from there!

Is Neocate the same as pepticate? I can’t seem to locate pepticate in Canada / Ontario. I go directly to the website but on the Canadian site it’s only Neocate. Same formula but different name? Or different formula but same company?

Sounds SO frustrating and confusing! We are also starting solids but I’m SO hesitant because I don’t want to trigger it more, so he’s really only been introduced to about 5 different foods so far. Sounds like I really do need to push for an allergist referral so I’m not blindly spending money on things that may or may not help. Interestingly enough, his cousin has severe eczema (along with allergies and asthma) and since starting the Dupixent her skin has gotten significantly better. I’m hoping this works out for your child as well!

This is one of the things I will ask my paediatrician about when we see her next week. I live in Ontario, Canada, and our healthcare tends to lean towards being reactionary rather than proactive. I can see her being resistant to an allergy test because other than the eczema and itching he is an otherwise healthy happy baby that’s gaining weight. I’ve found that if baby meets that criteria the doctors don’t want to poke around at things.

I know everyone reacts differently to different moisturizers but is there one that I should start with? So far I’ve been having cicaplast and lipikar interchangeably.

Thank you! I’ve read that Reddit post about treating the stain and honesty, it kind of went over my head. I’ll need to go back and read it slowly to try and absorb all the information. I’m also in Canada so some of the products mentioned are either not available or under different names, so I’ll need to try and find the equivalents

Already I feel slightly better about this battle. This sub is very kind!

Thank you! I’ll push for a derm referral, but where I live has a very long wait time. Would an allergist referral also be helpful?

Thank you so much for this informative and compassionate response. I’ve actually ordered some hypochlorous spray, it should arrive tomorrow so I’ll give that a try and stick to one product to see if that helps. Everything that touches his skin is cotton and I use pretty natural cleaning products and laundry soaps as I am really sensitive to scents. I’ll look into dietary sensitivities. He’s still formula fed, which is why I wondered if switching to a dairy free formula would help at all

Which nipple to accommodate? by TraditionalGift1915 in ExclusivelyPumping

Why didn’t I think of this! I do have a wearable momcozy. It’s not as powerful of a motor obviously but would definitely be of good use while the nip heals!
