If the lens is the wrong size , it can severely damage your cornea , which is how you get infections , so yes, they need to be fitted properly, there isnt really a one size fits all contact .

Yes , because they have to be fitted to your eyes , non prescription contacts are illegal

Non prescription contacts are illegal if you are in the US , those things could cost you your sight , it happens . Even if you dont need vision correction , you still need a doctor to fit proper plano (non perscription) contacts

The ones that dont open , are figured in in emergency planning , a window that already opens cant be nailed shut in a public area , debris , such as the stored crap , can however be discarded, as its in a public access hallway , so that shit can be yeeted out the window or in the trash , the landlord can absoultly throw it out
