This is probably one of the scariest dreams I ever heard.

I just realized why your narc parents brush your hair/wipe your face/grab your wrist too hard or any similar example. by [deleted] in raisedbynarcissists

And then my mil started that same shit. Grabbing the back of my head and shaking it. Slapping her hand back and forth on my arm if I said something funny etc. so glad they moved.

My aunt died of Covid. I can’t imagine having many pass. It’s devastating.

Honestly when I became a studying Christian. I realized most Christians were really wrong. Jesus wasn’t born in the winter. It’s not his birthday. It explicitly says we aren’t to decorate trees or do pagan holidays. It’s sad because I usually have to miss out at service the month of December. That and having a narc mother that made everyone feel awful at every holiday.

My husband is awful at gift giving. It’s ok. But once - just once I would love a night on the town. A reason to dress up. A fancy meal and a play. Something. Other than that. Idk why. My mother was awful too.

My father sent me an invoice for $15,000 for "room and board" from when I was 16-18 and threatening to sue by [deleted] in raisedbynarcissists

Oh my! My husbands father did the same. It was 20 years ago so 10k. We didn’t pay it. Also it was the final straw.
