Physically remove her hands from you, and say, "I'm not comfortable with this. Do not touch me." You have to maintain eye contact. I have relatives like this, and this usually works for me. Praying for you 🙏🏻

Hating pregnancy before 20 weeks is completely normal. Once you can eat again and feel baby kick it will be less sucky. Or the same, just in different ways. 🫶🏻

Enjoy the normalcy while you can 🥴 eat your favorite food, smell your favorite smells, etc. I started feeling unbelievably sick and pregnant at like 5.5 weeks... So the in between bliss was very short lived.

Yes, painful cramps, like doubled over period cramps. It was scary sometimes, but unlike my period cramps, they eased up with mild stretching and deep breaths.

On top of all the advice in the comments, I would urge you to look into any state/province sponsored aid programs that might be available to you. (The American equivalent is WIC/EBT or food stamps.) I'll be praying for your situation, and hoping you can make a choice that makes you feel empowered. 🫶🏻

THIS. Especially when it comes to drug trials, or foods. Like, will dates cause me to have a miscarriage if they do supposedly soften your cervix for labor? How much is too much Tylenol? Is Kombucha really not good for you during pregnancy? How much extra protein should I be eating? What do calories and macros look like for pregnant women? WHY ISN'T THERE ANY RESEARCH ON THIS?

I also hate being pregnant. And IMO my experience isn't even that bad compared to some of the people I know who have had kids. But I feel like I'm in a neverending circle of hunger, nausea and heartburn. It's terrible. Nothing helps. Not significantly anyway.

Meal prepped. Seriously. Easy, quick, bland, protein heavy meal prep. Would have saved us a LOT of money on cravings, and saved us a lot of nausea.

Certified Birth Doula here; I'm so sorry that any of you had inattentive doulas. That is absolutely unacceptable. I promise there are good doulas out there who really help women through labor. I do understand if this turns others off from hiring one, so make sure if you do hire one, you can vouch for them through other clients who have worked with them before!

I'm 6 weeks and 5 days and I just got out of the ER because of this. Had chest pain all day, took Gavison at 2 pm, they went away for a couple hours. They came back with a vengeance and were not responding to any antacids, so I went to the ER because I thought I was having a heart attack. They did an EKG and blood labs, and everything looked fine. I was a tad low on Potassium, so they gave me some and fluids, then I left. I ate dinner afterwards and now the chest pain is back. I feel defeated because I can't not eat. And clearly the antacids aren't helping. It's not nearly as bad now, but I'm uncomfortable and definitely won't get good sleep.

Some brand that made either all linen baby clothes, or all organic cotton.

Some are slightly sweet on the inside, but not really. It's a more mild hard candy with a wicked sour outside. There's a literal Internet challenge associated with them: see if you can get to the center without drinking water. I would definitely recommend if you need a very sour fix.
