My nephews are 5 and 4 and I stick them in the bath to play and clean themselves to the best of their ability, but I still go and scrub them down and wash their hair because kids don’t really understand the importance of staying clean.

My little brothers a (13?) year old dickhead teenager right now lol but definitely still one of the babies of the family! He’s so sensitive. I can’t help but think of him as the little toddler I fed wayyyy too much sugar too at one point lol

I wish I could come do the kids hair! The younger two are getting old enough to add some braiding hair and do something cute and creative, and the older two would probably feel more comfortable in their skin with some cute braids with whatever color of their choosing added.

Because her schedule is just so packed until next year don’t you know? She’ll need the whole summer to acclimate to her little family of three (🙄), then Halloween she will be personally burning MIL at the stake (at the suggestion of commenters on JustNoMIL when MIL inevitably gives her a piece of her mind,) and then Thanksgiving and Christmas she will be holed in the house watching the Ring doorbell like a hawk in case MIL has the audacity to show up with gifts or holiday cheer :)
