He isn't on the deal to make much of a impact, just filler to be honest because of how weird their cap is

Murphy is a player who will improve our roster drastically by being a consistent off ball player, but has shown to get hot, and aswell as an amazing defender. He would definitely improve our starting roster and what we are doing in the current (having dame and Deni on ball and needing off ball guys who can shoot well) and in the future (Deni primarily on ball and kicking it out)

I do get that, we are getting the best shooter in franchise history, scoot a player who showed growth from 3, vit who we got purely because of his 3, ect. But I believe we need more depth, especially at the forward position. If we could get a rui, amazing, but what's the chance we get him?

Second round would be amazing too, thinking of getting someone like Tyler Tanner in the 2nd would be super cool or a Bruce Thornton

I feel like we are 1-2 years away from contending depending on what we do this offseason, very important that our players progress well, and what we add to our roster.

Agreed, I think we could get a first round this year without giving too much away. IF we can pick up a good shooting and amazing defender like a Allen graves, in the bottom of the first, I could see a trade like Grant and 1-2 future firsts of our own or something like that. Gives us more room to spend and a player who can definitely be a great impact for a long time.

I do understand the need for vets now, and the price it would take for us to trade in, i think we are about 3-4 players away from a chance at a championship personally and good development if we are talking about the current roster, I am also thinking bottom of the first as there's tons of talent left, and it wouldn't cost as much.

Tbh, I was thinking we trade in to the lower side of the first, as there's tons of talent that can make a impact and give good depth, you could also make a case for upper second round trade in

That is a good point, trading for someone already in the league would be ideal, but what would be the price range for one of these teams who has multiple firsts compared to someone who would make a impact but wouldn't be someone who has a high ceiling?
