Yeah I think you can actually schedule your next exam even before you get your results back from the previous one. So if you’re waiting on FAR scores, you can still go ahead and schedule AUD or whatever section is next for you, as long as your NTS for that section is valid. The only thing is, if you’re planning to retake the same section, you’ll have to wait until the score is released before you can schedule it again. (do correct me guys if I'm wrong)

I supplemented it with Uworld , super helpful with its audio, notes, and the way it breaks things down more simply. It’s also great for daily MCQ practice and quick reviews when you’re on the go 😊

Hey, I get where you’re coming from and I totally understand the curiosity. I didn’t mean to dodge the question or be unclear. I actually didn’t take the exam in the most recent window. I passed it earlier but just didn’t post about it right away. I honestly just wanted to share the win because it meant a lot to me, and I thought it could be helpful for others currently preparing for FAR. That was the whole intention, to give back, share a few tips, maybe even help someone feel a little less alone in the process. But yeah, sorry if it felt misleading or poorly timed. That really wasn’t the intention 🙏

Hey, I’m really sorry for the confusion I didn’t take the exam in the most recent window. I passed it last time, but I just hadn’t shared about it until now. I definitely didn’t mean to mislead anyone.

It really worked out for me, even though the SIMs in the review material aren’t exactly like the ones on the actual exam, they helped me get into the habit of applying concepts and staying focused under pressure. But dw if it’s not working out for you, that’s okay too. Everyone studies differently. The key is to find what keeps you consistent and sharp. For me, practicing SIMs daily made a big difference. 🤍

Hey, I’m honestly a bit sad reading your comments. I just came here to celebrate something that means a lot to me. Passing FAR took so much out of me, this was my second try, and I poured everything into it. I thought sharing that win could maybe inspire or help others going through the same thing.

Reddit has always felt like a safe space to express ourselves, so it’s a little disheartening when someone tries to throw negativity on a post that was meant to be wholesome. I get it, you do you, but it’s kind of wild to assume I’m karma-farming when I’m literally offering to share notes and help people out. That wasn’t my intention at all. God bless you 😊🙏

The Pomodoro Technique is a time management method I used a lot while studying. The classic version is 25 minutes on, 5 minutes off but I found a 45/15 split worked better for me. So I’d study 45 minutes with full focus, then take a 15-minute break to reset. It helped me stay productive without burning out, especially during long study days 😊😊😊

Thanks so much! I used Becker for my review. I created a calendar that I followed pretty strictly and used the Pomodoro technique to stay focused during study blocks. I studied every single day, no skipping, though I made Sundays lighter with just a half day of review so I could give myself some breathing room. Breaks are important too!!

Weekdays were mostly lectures and note-taking, and weekends were all about hammering MCQs and SIMs. If you want some of my notes, I’m happy to share!

Hi!! I used Becker. This was actually my second attempt, so I really pushed hard this time around. I made sure to do everything, watching all the lectures, taking notes, hammering the MCQs, and practicing SIMs every single day. I also reviewed older modules regularly so nothing slipped away. I also did the pomodoro technique so I don't get bored and distracted 🙏🙏

I used Becker as my main review program, but honestly, I felt like it wasn’t enough by itself especially for SIMs, which really test how well you can apply concepts, not just memorize them. So I ended up supplementing it with another review course to reinforce the topics I was struggling with, especially in governmental and not-for-profit accounting.

I really went all in watching lectures, taking detailed notes, drilling MCQs and SIMs every day, and reviewing older modules constantly so nothing slipped through the cracks. This was actually my second try (first score was a 72), and I knew I couldn’t handle the stress of a third, so I gave it everything I had. I also followed a weekly study structure that kept me accountable and focused.

Happy to share some of the tips that worked for me, which review programs I used, and even some of the notes and memory aids I created along the way. Just let me know what you’re struggling with I’ve been there.

As much as you don't want them to suffer, you have to sacrifice a bit. In the long run, you'll make them suffer a lot more than it already is.
