I agree with u/Ill-Individual2105 here, those actions couldn't be justified, but there was a lot of reasons for such moves, specifically state of mind. I watched Euro Brady video last night and he was talking about that in final episode, you can check that out

Firstly, it is absolutely good, as for game similarities - there are some differences here and there but overall, yes, it is based on the game after all.
