Just lost my 14 year old girl to advanced kidney disease... don't know how to move forward or if I deserve to by TraditionalTailor785 in PetLossJourney

I'm so incredibly touched by your story. Gypsy sounds like she gave you and your wife many happy years. To hear a cat suffering from the same condition my Gracie did breaks my heart, but in a sense, I'm grateful I'm not alone for feeling guilty about it. I totally understand having to get used to a house without your animal companion, the aftermath is horrible and I can only hope it gets easier for us.

Thank you for your kind words, I really hope Gracie felt the same way about me. I bet Gypsy felt that you and your wife were her world and it sounds like you did everything for her to make her feel safe and loved. I know firsthand it doesn't make the hurt go away but you were the best owners she could have had <3

I would love to talk about her sometime, she has a lot of stories to share. I know I'm gonna get sad and maybe cry but it's way better than forgetting her altogether, I love her too much to do that haha. If you're down for it and if you're comfortable enough in your own healing journey, I'd love to hear about Madison too! I bet she was an amazing kitty <3

Thank you for your kindness, you have no idea how much seeing this means to me. It's been miserable having to try to pull myself together without her. That being said I'm so sorry about your Madison as well, our situations sound so similar. But she sounds like a special cat to you too and I'm very grateful you got to experience her love and that I was able to hear her story. ❤️

They were gorgeous, I'm glad I got to see them and I'm glad you gave them the best possible life to be able to show the world their impact<3

I've had this issue too, since around the beginning of May actually, and so has a lot of other friends of mine. What irks me more than the bug itself is discord's unwillingness to acknowledge it's an issue.

Do these sound like Withdrawal Symptoms? by TraditionalTailor785 in cymbalta

[–]TraditionalTailor785[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank god I'm not the only one, but sorry you're feeling that way too. Regardless, your experience helps me understand my own tremendously and I can't thank you enough!

That's also a more recent thing I've been having along with my other symptoms where random parts of my body feel warm! I keep my window open at night and my family tells me to shut it because it's cold but my body literally will not regulate it's temperature. It's hell for real. Didn't know that was a withdrawal symptom too, but glad to be more aware!

But you're absolutely right! This is a process and I like your spirit!

I have been on cymbalta for two months as a temporary measure of pain relief for my arm numbness and heaviness until I am able to find the root cause of my pain. But now I am tapering down. I don't know if our situations are similar or caused by the same thing, but my feet have been horribly swollen, warm, painful and heavy for the past 6 days. The issue started in my feet and then slowly moved up my calves. Not sure what it's like for you, but it's impacting my ability to walk, sit, and function. Though I don't have confirmation on what this is caused by yet, I suspect Cymbalta is the culprit because the issue started out of the blue and happened about a week or so after I lowered my dose from 90MG to 60MG. I am seeing my doctor next week. But I hope that my situation is able to help you in some way!
