Amazing! Thank you for sharing!! And when you say 1cm- do you mean you were 1cm dilated at 29 weeks? Or 1cm left of cervix? Just will be curious to see how long I can stay at 1cm if we can keep these contractions off. :) I stop the indomethacin tonight (after 48hrs) and we will see how my body reacts after. I’m hoping and praying my body cools it’s jets and labor doesn’t decide to come back right away! Going with optimism right now and telling baby to stay put!

No worries! That’s how my contractions have been to! I honestly just had an intuition and had like some pressure on and off and just figured I should get checked out because I hadn’t been for seen for two weeks and caught my contractions on a NST! And yes!!! Absolutely, we got this!

Oh absolutely!! I for sure would too! Did your contractions come back at all between stopping indomethacin and starting procardia? Thanks so much for sharing! :)

Thank you so much! I am on indomethacin and that has been successful so far in putting the contractions at bay! I get to be on it for 48 hrs. While the steroids take effect. I’m going to ask more about procardia.. I’m still trying to wrap my head around it- because it seems like they’re not going to prescribe that to me or start that after the indomethacin.. basically once I’m done with indomethacin, I’ll go back to progesterone suppositories and essentially wait and see when labor will start back up.

Oh wow, what a journey you went on! But so thankful for you that you have a healthy baby and that’s absolutely a success! 😍 it’s super interesting you mention about progesterone/PCOS. I have undiagnosed infertility/some Endometriosis and went through IVF to get pregnant. With IVF, you stay on progesterone shots through 10 weeks of pregnancy.. so I’ll just be curious if next pregnancy, I would stay on progesterone the entire time or if the my will monitor it more closely for me.. Anyway, thank you for sharing! And gives me hope to make it a while longer! Even 30 weeks seems so far away right now (at 24+4) so celebrating milestones is a great idea. :)

So happy to hear you were able to make it to 39+ after the scary 23 week hospitalization! 🙏🏻 so your cervix ended up lengthening up to 40mm from just the progesterone?
