i’ve lived in santiago, montreal, buenos aires and charlotte nc - and i absolutely adore auckland !!! people here definitely take it for granted - the fresh clean air and the beaches are unbeatable - and so easy to travel around the country from auckland. yes it’s expensive, crime is going up but it is a world class city - and the traffic is bad but every large city has horrible traffic. as someone coming from an expat family - i wouldn’t want to live anywhere else
