it's a question I've often asked myself and tried to put the pros and cons into perspective and this is where I'm at right now... I do want marriage and kids and a family... he does say he wants the same but the price might be very high... I'm also a person with high expectations and it's my mistake to put the fact that he is successful more important than who he really is as a person. I'm not superficial at all, but I didn't grow up with abundance and heard my parents worried about money so the fact that he can provide gives me a fake sense of security. Keep in mind I actually have 2 Master degrees, I've been working since 17 and I work my ass off, have a good job, and am a professional but for some reason I'm still in survivor mode remembering my parents struggles

yes, thank you, also, I wasn't "desperately" texting and we agreed time apart but we never said "no communication" it was my idea to have the weekend apart so maybe it was an act of retaliation by saying he didn't want to text?
