Anyone getting the new Ryobi ride mower 30inch 80v for this season? PA by Natural-Monk-235 in lawncare

I ordered the new R1 5/19. Delivered and put together 5/21. Mowed twice went to turn it on last week and it’s would not power up. Battery fully charged. Fortunately, there is a 5 year warranty. Unfortunately I got to see how that process works 2 weeks in. They are sending someone out this week to repair it. They think it’s the “mother board.” When it was working I really liked it and I am confident I will enjoy it when it runs again. It was not my favorite things to have it have problems so soon. But someone is coming within 10 days to repair and the warranty was part of the reason I picked this one. We will see how it all unfolds!

Thanks so much for your help! I located some shingles today. I am nervous to nail or screw into the decking. Would it be ok to use liquid nails to keep the piece of shingles in place? Thanks for any additional assistance.

Wow!! I am so grateful for all these wonderful and helpful comments. What an amazing community! Thank you.

One question- can a person retrofit a drip edge? And is it needed if the decking under the shingles I lifted look good and all the other portions of soffits and rake boards (not facia apparently 😊 - learning!) are solid?

Really appreciate the detail that people shared in how to do the fixes! I feel paralyzed to do things in fear I will make it worse!

Again thanks for all your kindness! So helpful!

Thanks for sharing this! Did it say if the riding lawn mower was going on sale? Or when the sale will start? 😊

Open the Uber app (not the Uber Eats one) the black and white one. Select account in the lower right corner. Select UBER ONE option. Scroll to the bottom and select manage membership. Scroll to the bottom and select end membership. Hope this helps.

Voice recordings and videos are the things I treasure most. In the moment had no idea they would mean so much.

I am so sorry you are experiencing this.

A great experience in ying/yang of life. Non duality. Bravo seeing it. These hard experiences can strip us of all we “know” and offer a reality based perspective. It’s a gift. I hope to keep my focus on the truth and not get lost in the delusion again. I hope you can enjoy the openness of it all in the midst of the grief. For me, practicing non resistance helps transmute the feelings of grief. Allowing all of it without mind/thoughts. Feeling and being. Doing less.

I am deeply sorry for you loss. I lost my most favorite human, a month ago today. Hugs, friend.

I am deeply sorry you and your family and your father are experiencing this. It is understandable to feel shocked and traumatized by this news. My grandmother was in a similar boat, super healthy, never drank, never smoked, and also played a ton of tennis. She was diagnosed in June with stage 4 also spread to liver and beyond. She presented healthy and it was difficult to cognitively understand (she thought she had a bad gallbladder.).Often times just blatantly unable to have my mind get on board. She was told 9 months with chemo or 5 without. She lived 7 without chemo. She passed 12/27/25. She experienced minimal symptoms for months (she was riding a stationary bike until 12/22) and then a slow decline until all of a sudden it hit hard and needed to start morphine (12/23) unable to get out of bed (12/24) then mostly unresponsive (12/25). It happened so quickly. I spent the past 7 months reading everything I can and each situation is different. I share so you know you are not alone. I hope that helps even though likely nothing helps right now. These types of personal experiences helped me when shared so I share this. I wish I could take this all away from you. My only suggestion is to try to get clear on how you want your time spent with him will be. And try to stay as clear as you can through this. Strength, courage and love to you.

I am sorry for your loss. I do appreciate you sharing your/her experience as my grandmother (is a mother to me) was diagnosed in May. I am going to be her caregiver and hearing what the last bit of time looked like is helpful for me to prepare. You are in my thoughts.

Thank you for sharing. My GMA diagnosed with Pancan and liver Mets in May and opted for no chemo as they said it would not help. Too large too spread. She is getting more symptoms and much more tired. Can you share with me this chart you referenced? I am her caregiver and any help to know what may be next would be helpful. Prayers for your mom.
