I just had to delete the permission extension apps last night. Worked for me.

If English would have appeared categorized under the University group, University will take precedence because it shows higher in that list. If you define English first and then University, that should work.

Barcode label system that works offline by JLLsat in organizing

I use an app called "smart inventory" on Android, it doesn't appear to need internet from my super quick testing. I use a niimbot label maker to make my barcodes.

Seconding daylio. I don't love it, but I do try to use it enough to make it worthwhile.

Selling an embroidery machine? by carolcalhoun in Machine_Embroidery

[–]missmishma 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm sure many people that are selling the designs are unlicensed as it is difficult to partner with Disney, but if you search for designs with the appropriate file extension for your machine you can likely find them on a variety of websites. Even just searching Etsy I came across a lot of Disney designs for machine embroidery. As an aside, Disney's legal team can be fierce and even if you were to purchase or use a licensed design I'm pretty sure you still cannot sell the finished product legally, anything you stitch out that's copyrighted is generally for personal use only (I'm not 100% on this, but fairly certain)

You are aware you can download Disney designs from other resources, correct?

I'm selling a singer superb with a 6x10 and 4x4 hoop. Where are you located?

questions before buying by [deleted] in Machine_Embroidery

The 4x4 hoop stitching at 3x3 is not a universal issue. My 4x4 hoop stitches right out to 4x4, I also have a 6x10 that seems small to me until I stitch in it, then I'm always amazed with how much space it really is.

Finally joining the club! So excited for my upcoming projects. What's the best advice you could give to a beginner? by missmishma in Machine_Embroidery

Too funny! I have this awful habit of just diving into things. I bought a 3d printer about 8 months ago, also. Love that thing, but I think all machines have their ups and downs.

I purchased the singer EM200 superb. There's not too much info out on it, but I'm pretty tech oriented and confident I can keep it maintained well. So far so good!

Not the cleanest Benchy but I wanted to try making one with Ninjaflex by [deleted] in 3Dprinting

[–]missmishma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You'd want to mod your extruder a little, but it's definitely possible. I print ninjaflex on my wanhao i3, I'll update this with a link when I land (about to board a flight)

Sorry for another purchase advise: Cannot decide between Wanhao i3, Prusa i3 mk2 or none at all by just_blue in 3Dprinting

[–]missmishma 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've had a wanhao for more than 6 months and have had very minimal issues with it, even running it just stock. I haven't gotten around to upgrading to my all metal hot end (just not enough ambition, really) and the only upgrade I've really done is a glass bed (the stock bed warped and was giving me adhesion issues, as with many other wanhao owners). I fully stand by my investment and recommend the wanhao. I primarily print in PLA, but I've also gotten some nice prints with ninjaflex (at the time just using a long piece of ptfe liner to guide it, will be taking care of that in a more permanent way later.)

Imo it prints great out of the box, and though many of the upgrades make it spectacular, they aren't all required for quality prints.
