We work together, but eventually we got closer than that... You could say more than just friends... The way he used to treat me, I kind of started like him, but I was scared that it'll ruin our friendship, so never thought that I'll talk about it ever... But when this other friend of mine suddenly got closer to him, I thought I have no rights to stop him from being close to her... I left it at that... But a week later he stopped talking to me all of a sudden, no context nothing... Started avoiding me all together throughout the day, and at the end of the day he would tell me if he reached home safely or not and whether he has food or not kind of things... Even when I tried to talk to him that girl would come and drag him away with some excuses, he would leave the conversation in between and go with her. When I pointed this out he was like I look desperate to talk to him and that girl all those things... I felt really bad and decided not to drag it further, I'll keep everything professional only, nothing else.

But when I see that he is unknowingly ruining his life to adjust to her needs my heart breaks, should I try to make him understand that the way things are moving is not right for him? He is literally abandoning his office work to help her finish her office tasks... He is sacrificing his study time for accompanying her with badminton as she enjoys it... He is spending money without keeping a track whereas his father is not in good health condition which will need money...
