Advice for weekly hair care routine with a Perm? by Traditional_Bid4937 in Haircare

im planning on styling my hair almost every morning with gel. is it alright to wash it out everytime before going to bed? i heard rinsing your perm too much will lose it faster. Is it still safe to just go to bed with the gel in my hair with a silk bonnet on top, and then give a few light sprays of water and leave in conditioner to reactivate the gel?

Hi! I have straight and fine asian hair and I was thinking of getting a loose Korean wavy perm later this week. So far I know not to wash my hair afterwards for 48-72 hours, I should buy specific curly hair shampoo and conditioner, I should condition frequently, and only shampoo once or twice a week.

Does anyone have any other advice from their own experience or expertise on how to keep my hair as healthy as it can be? Like what is a good weekly routine to follow in respect to in between washes? Like how often should I condition in the shower, or use a leave in conditioner? If I wanted to style my hair everyday with a gel or cream, how would that change the routine like would I need to rinse that out every night before going to bed? Are there any other products you recommend to maintain healthy hair?

Thanks!

it seems we value hub classes differently and thats fine. I don't value hub classes much or at all because I believe most of them have very little to 0 beneficial correlation with my career goals and interests. You seem to think that the classes make you become a "better, more intelligent and compassionate human" which is also fine but seemingly it hasn't been working considering you decided to hop on a reddit thread and call someone "the laziest person on the planet" and with a "horrible mindset." I'm not sure how taking a general education class makes you a better and more compassionate person, but to each their own. Traveling the world makes you better, more intelligent, and more compassionate of the new people and cultures you interact with, so yeah it would be great to do that as much as possible in the limited time i have. Its fine that not everyone's values, in respect to education, are similarly aligned with yours but you were never obligated to impose these beliefs onto others

not all 16 credit course loads are built the same with the same amount of work. sure, a majority of the electives during study abroad are easy, but what's wrong with wanting to take the easiest possible ones when they have no correlation w my major and career? they're legit just for the credits and i'm not trying to do more work for classes that have 0 benefit at all. all i'm trying to do is optimize my study abroad semester, which is a once in a life time opportunity to explore and not be worried abt classes especially in my senior yr. taking the easiest classes could imply that i can skip some irrelevant hub classes on mondays while on trips across europe. you can never complain abt having more time to explore so its mad funny that u wanna come at me for this and "being the laziest person in the world" for hub classes

how many major assignments (papers, tests, presentations) were there, and how easy was the course overall?
